A recent report from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has confirmed alarming developments in Iran’s nuclear program. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded urgently, warning that Iran’s level of uranium enrichment “exists only in countries actively pursuing nuclear weapons” and serves no peaceful purpose.
For those of us who care deeply about Israel, this is not just political news—it’s a call to spiritual vigilance.
Christians and Jews share a long history of facing existential threats. But we also share a deep trust in the God who protects, who delivers, and who calls us to be watchmen on the walls. As Psalm 121 reminds us, “He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”
Now is the time to pray—for wisdom among world leaders, for courage among the people of Israel, and for clarity in a world often clouded by confusion. This is also a moment for moral clarity: a nuclear Iran would endanger not only Israel, but the stability of the entire region and beyond.
We must urge our leaders to act decisively, while we as believers act faithfully—through prayer, advocacy, and standing firm in support of Israel’s right to exist in peace and security.
Let us be a voice not of fear, but of faith. And let us remember: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17).
