Anti-Israel rhetoric isn’t just a geopolitical debate—it’s a spiritual attack on the very foundation of our faith. To strip the Jewish people of their history in the land of Israel is to chip away at the truth of Scripture itself.
We’re seeing this in real time. University “teach-ins” present Israel as a colonial invention. Social media influencers push maps that erase Israel entirely. Even some churches, eager to align with popular social justice slogans, sidestep the reality that Jesus Himself was Jewish, worshipped in the Temple, and walked in Judea and Galilee—places now slandered as “illegally occupied.”
This isn’t just ignorance—it’s a deliberate rewriting of history.
Archaeology tells a different story. The City of David excavations have uncovered ancient Hebrew inscriptions, temple artifacts, and royal seals confirming a Jewish presence in Jerusalem dating back thousands of years. Scripture tells the same truth: God promised this land to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and their descendants forever (Genesis 17:7–8).
If the Jewish people’s historic claim to Israel can be erased, then the credibility of the Bible is undermined. And if Christians are silent while that happens, we become complicit in the erasure.
This is why defending Israel is not “just politics.” It’s defending the truth of the Gospel’s foundation. Without the Jewish people, their covenant, and their land, Christianity has no roots. To deny Israel’s legitimacy is to saw off the branch on which our faith rests.
Christians must reject this false history and boldly proclaim the truth—because defending Israel is defending the integrity of God’s Word.
