In the early hours of Friday morning, the Israel Defense Forces launched a daring and historic military campaign—Operation Rising Lion—striking deep into Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and targeting key leadership figures within the regime. This is not just a military maneuver; it is a defining moment in Israel’s ongoing struggle for survival in a region that has long sought its destruction.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the nation with clarity and conviction:
“This is a military campaign to roll back the Iranian threat to Israel’s very survival. We will continue this mission for as many days as it takes to remove this threat.”
As an organization that unites Christians and Jews in unwavering support of Israel, we cannot remain silent. Operation Rising Lion is not merely a geopolitical event—it is a moment of deep spiritual and moral consequence. It brings into sharp focus the reality that Israel, the only democratic and Jewish state in the Middle East, is once again forced to act alone to defend itself against an enemy that seeks its annihilation.
A Wake-Up Call for the Faithful
The Iranian regime has made no secret of its desire to “wipe Israel off the map,” and its pursuit of nuclear weapons represents not just a threat to Israel, but to the peace and stability of the entire world. For years, Iran has sponsored terror across the region—from Hezbollah in Lebanon to Islamic Jihad in Gaza—and has used its proxies to encircle Israel like a noose.
We are called to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6), and also to take action in moments like these. The courage of the Israeli people, and the bravery of the soldiers risking their lives in this operation, must be met with our prayers, our advocacy, and our voices.
This is not just Israel’s fight. This is our fight.
Understanding the Stakes
Iran’s nuclear ambitions are not theoretical. The regime’s open hostility toward Israel, its sponsorship of global terrorism, and its violent suppression of its own people all point to one reality: Iran, in its current form, is a rogue state that cannot be trusted with the world’s most dangerous weapons.
Israel’s preemptive action may be controversial to some—but history has taught us what happens when the world turns a blind eye to rising evil. From the Holocaust to the Yom Kippur War, Israel has been forced to survive by relying on its own strength and, more importantly, on the providence of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

- Pray fervently for the safety of Israeli soldiers, the wisdom of Israeli leaders, and the protection of all civilians in the region.
- Educate your communities about the Iranian threat and why Israel’s actions are justified and necessary.
- Advocate for American and international support of Israel’s right to self-defense. Call your elected officials. Demand moral clarity.
- Stand strong in your faith and your commitment to God’s promises. He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4).
A Final Word of Hope
While the future is uncertain, our faith is not. The God who led the Israelites out of Egypt, who restored them to their land, and who has preserved Israel against all odds is still at work. Operation Rising Lion is not just about weapons and war—it is about the enduring promise that Am Yisrael Chai—The People of Israel Live.
And as long as we stand united—in faith, in prayer, and in action—we will not be shaken.
